MEET CANADA'S NATIONAL TEAM
Canada's national sports teams have a long, proud history of wearing the Maple Leaf to compete internationally, Culinary Team Canada is among them. CTC pursues excellence in the culinary arts and has a proven record as worthy Olympians on the world stage. Canada's first medal was in 1972 at the IKA Hoga Culinary Olympics, and since then has won many more focusing on cuisine that is uniquely Canadian and reflective of the cultural diversity and agricultural abundance of our country.

The next World Culinary Olympics is in Stuttgart, 2024. The IKA/Culinary Olympics is the oldest, largest and most diverse international culinary arts competition in the world. Over 60 professional teams passionately working to achieve the perfect interaction of ingredients, preparation and presentation will try to win over a panel of expert judges. This premiere culinary competition has been repeated every four years since 1900, and today some of Canada's best chefs, managers and coaches are in the kitchen training hard to bring home the gold.
