Q: Which of the two wall holders do I need?
A: It depends on your sheet size. The 49 x 49cm holder takes sheets from 32.5 x 53 up to 40 x 60. The 29 x 49cm holder takes 30 x 50 sheets. Check your sheets first, because the holders are not adjustable.
Q: What if I have the smaller sheets?
A: Profboard make three sheet holders in total, and none of them is specified for the 30 x 40 or 24 x 34 sheets. If those are your sizes, ask us before ordering rather than assuming a holder will take them.
Q: Why store sheets in a holder at all?
A: Because sheets stacked flat stay damp between the layers. A holder keeps them upright and separated so they drain and dry, which is what keeps a washed sheet actually clean until you use it.
Q: Is there a version that does not mount to a wall?
A: Yes, a table-top holder that stands on the counter. It is the answer for kitchen islands, or anywhere you would rather not drill.
Q: How is the holder itself kept clean?
A: It is stainless steel, so it washes down with everything around it. Profboard sheet holders are NSF certified to NSF/ANSI 2, which matters if you are running a certified kitchen.
